Learning from evolution and applying humanized yeast in the quest for new drugs

This poster describes how our interest in uncovering phenotypic associations across deeply conserved gene modules led us to systematically humanize yeast cells coupled with synthesizing ~30 years of agricultural field studies of pesticide resistance helped us repurpose a novel class of FDA-approved antifungals as vascular disrupting agents.
