We reason that the ability of the core promoter to function in such diverse contexts makes it an ideal candidate for use in a variety of other insects. Our vectors include different color fluorescent reporters and markers, piggyBac and PhiC31 integration, and Gal4-UAS. Additionally, we have created a versatile landing site for establishing PhiC31 integration in additional species. Together these tools will greatly enhance the study of enhancers in non-traditional insect models. %I TAGC 2020
